A Legacy of Excellence: The History of Pace’s Tire & Service Center
Dave and Chuck Pace opened Pace’s Tire & Service Center in 1960. Their reputation and business grew quickly by providing the highest level of quality auto repair and customer service to the residents of West St. Paul.
Brothers, Bob & Ken Pace, became third generation owners in 2001. Both had grown up in the business starting as youth sweeping floors and pumping gas. Together they grew the business to the level it is at today. The success they earned was through hard work, dedication to their loyal customer base, and doing things the “right way” because it is the right thing to do!
In February 2023, Tom Archambault & Wade Deslauriers purchased the business from Bob & Ken Pace. Together they have a combined 40+ years of experience in the automotive industry. Both got their start in the automotive business much like Bob & Ken, working their way from the sweeping floors to business ownership.

Tom Archambault
OWNER
Tom has been working at BLVD Autoworks (formerly St. Anthony Mobil) since 1997. He bought the business in 2015. Under his ownership many things at BLVD Autoworks have changed, but one thing has remained constant…a dedication to taking care of people by partnering with them for their automotive needs. In early 2023, Tom alongside Wade purchased Pace’s Automotive (formerly Pace’s Service Center). Tom believes Pace’s Automotive and BLVD Autoworks are both a customer service business that just so happens to fix cars! Outside of work Tom enjoys golfing (not very well), playing on lake, traveling with his wife & kids, and rooting for the MN Wild!
Wade Deslauriers
OWNER
Wade came to work at BLVD Autoworks in 2010 while studying auto mechanics at Dunwoody College of Technology. Upon graduation in 2011 Wade came on board as a full-time technician and quickly earned his ASE Master Technician certification. In 2016, Wade moved into the front office and became a service advisor. In 2023, Wade became general manager with the acquisition of a second location, Pace’s Automotive (formerly Pace’s Service Center), in West St. Paul , of which he is co-owner. In his free time Wade enjoys drag racing, traveling, and spending time with his wife & kids.
